Le Mas du Bacalan is an old wine farm from the 1850s located in the Vaucluse, in Provence, on the southern piedmont of Mont-Ventoux. Now a family home, it has now become a versatile place to welcome and stay, part of the most humanistic and ecological approach possible.
The exceptional location of Bacalan naturally dedicates it to resourcing and creativity : at the end of a country road, in the middle of vineyards and fruit trees in organic culture, between silts, forests and ochres of Mormoiron. A municipality that belongs to the Mont-Ventoux Regional Natural Park since its creation in 2020.
The many riches of the region also invite to radiate more widely, in any season through Mont-Ventoux, Dentelles de Montmirail, Comtat venaissin, Lubéron, Monts de Vaucluse and Albion plateau.
The towns of history and exceptional villages have other attractions nearby: Mormoiron, Villes-sur-Auzon, Bedoin, Méthamis, Blauvac, Sault, Monieux, Banon, Montbrun-les-Bains, Vaison-la-Romaine, Malaucène, Le Barroux, Beaumes-de-Venise, Gigondas, Carpentras, Pernes-les-Fontaines, Saint-Didier, Venasque, Le Beaucet, Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse etc.
